DESCRIPTION

Learn to use the web-based programming tool Scratch 2.0 to create games and animation with code.  By working through a multi-dimension project together, you will get familiar with Scratch’s interface and features and gain the essential skills needed for programming your own game.  

OUTCOMES

Gain a basic understanding of how code works, including core concepts such as functions, loops, variables and statements.

REQUIREMENTS

You must have internet and a mouse attached to your computer for this course.  A free Scratch account is required and can be created on https://scratch.mit.edu/. This must be done BEFORE the class.
